Description
We can wrap new, used or custom shells in unique or standard colours. The wrap used is a thin, outdoor, UV protected vinyl wrap similar to what is used on automobiles, decals and signs.
In addition, custom-made birch shells of varying thicknesses can be wrapped for all models of snare drums (Premier, Andante, Pearl and Axial) for a one-of-a-kind sound and look. Please note that custom shells are only available for snare drums at this time.
For existing snare, bass and tenor shells, please be aware that the wrap must go on a smooth, even surface and cannot be used on drums that have previously been wrapped with traditional plastic wrap or where the wrap has come off leaving a rough, glue-like surface. Badges, logos, air holes and decals must be removed during the wrap process and can either be replaced with new or substituted. Depending on the drum model, it’s not always possible to re-attach the original fittings.
Once we have your quote, we’ll ask you to send an image of your colour and idea and we’ll do our best to match it with our swatch book. Fades are not available but solid colours in matte, gloss, satin, brushed, sparkle, metallic, holographic, glow in the dark, chrome, woodgrain, marble and stone and patterned are. Once we have an idea of what you want, we’ll send you options back for you to choose.
It is best to do all drums in a corps at once to avoid any issues with wrap fading or being manufactured slightly differently from batch to batch. There are no guarantees for colour or design match if all drums are not covered at the same time.
