Description

To extend the life of your drums, it’s best to service them every one to two years, depending on the frequency of use. Competitive bands typically do a service every year, just before competition season begins (April, May and June months).  For this reason, it’s important to book your drum service in advance with us to ensure delivery within your time frame.  Typically a week to two weeks turnaround is needed if the service is arranged in advance.

Dust, dirt, wet weather and constant high tension all eventually contribute to failure on the drum.  Performing regular service will extend the life and function of your drums for many years to come.  If you’re outside our area for drum service, you can get a quote on all of the items needed, including our shim kit for top snares by using this site.  In addition, Hugh and Doug regularly attend Winter Storm in Kansas City each year as well as doing band workshops where setup and tuning are discussed and techniques learned directly by the drummers in your band.  Please feel free to ask questions about setup and tuning using the comment box when submitting your quote.
